All the lovely stupid flowers – part 2

Today I’m on a tight schedule, so not a lot of time to write, or even think about words. The good thing about removing my ‘200 word concept’ means that I can go over 200, but of course I can also stay under. It’s my blog.

The weather has been getting better and better these past few days, and spring is in full swing. Lots of flowers, so I try to spend time outside every day! So here’s the result of a short walk I did with our toddler. Although I will always try to stimulate him to pursue whatever he wants to do in life (as long as it isn’t heroin or whatever), I must admit that it really touches me on a deep level that he likes flowers, trees, birds and insects a lot, and really seems to have a keen eye for the living world. He sees stuff that my eyes don’t see! Having grown up without a responsible father in my own life, I think makes this feeling of having something in common extra precious to me. I will look at flowers with you any given day, my boy. Even if he will grow up to be a plumber or a ballet dancer, raising a person that also looks at flowers, would not hurt our world I hope.

And remember – if the world feels like shit, that’s because it often is, but there’s also a lot of flowers, and flowers are alright :).
