Coming home

We recently moved, and I don’t want to brag, but our new home is perfect. It’s literally all I could ever wish for.

It’s a tiny house. Well, not one of those trailer things that were hip for a while, but just a house that was built in days before people needed 200 sqm+ floor plans.

Our home for now

It is a tiny three bedroom house. In our family that means a one bedroom house with an office and a guest room.

The best part: this house has no connected neighbors. It’s just us. I cannot begin to describe the feeling of freedom this entails.

Garden space!

It’s planted on a 600 sqm plot. We have a terrace. Plant borders. Multiple vegetable beds, and a bonfire place. This means the kids can go all out. This means I can go all out.

I went all out

The place is old, and has its imperfections, but we embrace them. Yes! This place, it’s ours for now. We love it.

For the first time in a very long time I feel at home.

  2. This is incredible, Robin! Can’t tell you how happy I am for you; this place looks gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the pictures with us, as well as your feelings about the place. Just read your post about your toddler asking to go home during vacation as well, which is just so touching. I’m really glad you found such a wonderful place to call home. 😊

      1. It’s like a breath of fresh air to be reading blogs again! Work and personal goals have been shifting so I’ve been a lot busier than usual, but I’m still determined to carve out more time to read blogs this year. Yours is, of course, one of my favourites. 😊
