List your top 5 favorite fruits.
This is – by far – the most boring writing prompt I’ve seen in this place. I was considering not playing along, but here I am.
Seriously. Nobody cares about anyone’s five favorite fruits. So this list is silly, and so is this post. But I’m traveling in Austria and don’t feel like coming up with better stuff today. Live with it. Also, live with my list, because it’s good.
Coffee (yes that counts), Cocoa (yes that counts too), Preserved Lemons (if life gives you lemons, preserve them), Bananas with that Haribo banana flavor (I’m a simple guy), and a proper fucking Orange (nothing beats a good Orange and zest!)
(I’m sure a better post will come again. One day.)
Why write a prompt if you find it boring š

Good question. I like to write every day. For that, prompts can be an easy way out. I used to write about what inspired (or bothered) me every day, but it led to some trouble šµāš«. Since then I feel blocked in a way. Not blocked in the sense that I don’t get words out. Blocked in the sense that ally ideas lead to doubt whether it could cause trouble. It’s a process, and I’m sure it’ll be better soon.
I do find it nice to write a prompt in a creative way, but lately, they’ve been a bit silly.

I guess you could argue the prompt bothered you š

They do know how to trigger sometimes. By the way, are we now commenting on each other’s blogs simultaneously by chance? What are the odds…
