That’ll do

What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?

Delete Social Media.

Oh.

No, wait.

That would be too big of an improvement.

Hmm.

Small improvement.

Watch a movie?

Yeah, sure!

Let’s watch a movie.

That’ll do for today!

    1. Yes! But I’m pretty sure it will be the future. To be honest, the social and connectedness part of social media is not panning out so well for my social life. I don’t talk to some people, because I see on their Instagram how they’re doing. Similarly, I think some friends read my blog and stay up to date… So even writing under my own name can contribute to that, even if it’s not really social media.

      1. With some, yes! Those are the positive effects. With others, I just noticed that there’s less contact, and when there is, it’s often ‘oh, yeah I read x and y on your blog’. I have many of those examples, too. I find this a sad side effect. The blog gives a false sense of being informed. Although my blog is rather unfiltered in many respects, it’s of course a curated version of my life. By definition. (Note to friends and self: just keep in touch for the richer friendship experience haha 😂)
