Yesterday almost had me convinced that this infection was mild. This morning I woke up a different person, with different beliefs.

Yesterday I was mostly just tired, and my nasal cavity felt as if it was sandblasted.

Today, I’m not sure what’s the worst: the splitting headache, the fever that comes and goes, or the volumes of muck I’m coughing up. In a way, it reminds me of how I felt when I had dengue fever. The pain everywhere. I feel fucking miserable. It probably didn’t help that both kids have covid too. Double dosages of ibuprofen got me through the day.

I’ll end it here for today, chew some more ibuprofen and hope for a better night.

  1. Be strong! I got + covid myself along with husband after our 2nd dose of vaccination. Directly! A few hours after we were vaccinated …back in 2021. We.. had to be quarantined 14 days at home.

    1. That sounds awful. I’ve been triple vaccinated, but it’s known that immunity decreases with time, and the novel variants exhibit high levels of immune escape. I hear that most people take about a week with omicron.

      1. I know… it was an awful experience. Well.. do take care now. Drink plenty of water and avoid acidic food that gives you gas. The headaches, muscle pains and tiredness due to covid is already enough… More gas in body.. more headaches.
