The worst thing about plant experiments

The day started off hopeful, with huge snowflakes slowly floating down the sky. The temperature was just below zero, ao it seemed that it would add an extra layer to an already substantial blanket of snow. We decided to go for a snow hike with the family, and my parents in-law who are here for a couple of days. A quick stroll through a wintery landscape, followed by an outdoor lunch. But then the weather gods decided to grant us a few extra degrees. Fuck them. What started off as beautiful snow, quickly turned into slushy blub, and it made the overall atmosphere outside quite horrible. Snowy drizzle, leaning more to the drizzle than the snow. Ugh.

I was happy to be back indoors and hoping that I could stay here.

But then I remembered my plants… Well. Seedlings. They barely pass as plants. But seedlings need water too.
