A better home

My family and I live in a small but otherwise cozy attic apartment at the edge of our town. It hasn’t been perfect in many ways, and a few aspects have annoyed us since the beginning, including space limitations imposed by the angled roofs, insulation issues, having to subscribe to two internet providers to be able to have somewhat stable reception, poorly operating landlords, and Cruella de Vil living directly below us. Regardless, we were happy here for the most part. More recently, some of these aspects of life in this apartment, combined with a family expansion, have made living here more of a struggle, and are an important reason why we have recently decided that we want to leave, and move to something better.

Today we visited a potential home that we would like to move to and live in for the remainder of our time here. However, as it turned out, we were not alone in this, so let’s hope that all the other people were horrible people. I actually hate moving, but to be honest, I can’t wait this time.

Fingers crossed.
