After yesterday’s crap weather, today we woke up to some sunshine. The rest of the day turned out quite pleasant, but it also helps that we were in good company. It’s always nice to meet up with good friends after not seeing them for a year. Doing that in a nice place is even better.
We tried to fill the day with a nice child-friendly program, but we hardly managed to do a thing. Rafa was tired but happy. Lara, well, she was just a tiny baby being a baby. We managed to walk to a bar to have a coffee, then to another for another cup, but had to cancel this plan to take a longer walk which would potentially put the kids to sleep. (Nope.) Then we ended up at yet another bar. Drank coffee. Ate lunch. Then we made it to a supermarket with two diaper stops en route. After stocking up on barbecue supplies, we walked back to our campsite, took a dive in Lago Maggiore, and lit the barbecue.
It was one of those days that flies by, while you do very little. I’m sorry that there’s no more story. Sometimes it is what it is. But it was a good day!
