Zombie walk

This morning I discovered why it’s so comparatively quiet at Lago d’Idro. I couldn’t find any place that served coffee before 10am. There are several places near the water that open after that time, but none earlier than that. Ugh. This campsite doesn’t serve coffee either. What kind of Italian style is this…? And so it was that my first two baby-quiet walks of the day* were in zombie mode. It’s alright. I’ll survive. The views make up for it.

* This holiday may not be action-packed, but with many days of 15.000+ steps, I’m still quite a bit above my home office activity level.
