Just a short little ‘disclaimer’ post for today. Some days it is better to just sit back, relax, and don’t do too much in the evening hours. Today is one of those. So don’t expect too much from me. (And besides, I have been working all afternoon on writing answers to reviewers, and revising and rewriting a manuscript for Functional Ecology, I trained the writing muscle more than average today.)
Tomorrow, we will start harvesting our big barley bagging experiment. Tomorrow we harvest shoots, Thursday we harvest roots. By Friday, all should be empty. We arranged a huge team of awesome people, and it seems that we have gotten everything and everyone together at the right place and at the right time. A huge shout-out to Stephan, Sarah and Yuri, who prepared everything today, and even arranged a little test run on-site. We’re all set.
Now all I need is to just wind down for the day, and get some good sleep in! What do you do to prepare yourself for important and stressful days that cause you sleepless nights? Any pro tips are more than welcome in the comments.
